In 2003 some 72% of Americans fully supported the Abandoning of the Missions and those Sent to Accomplish so extremely Quickly after 9/11!!

At least some 95%, if not more as less then 1% serve them, not only still support the, just below, total lack of Sacrifice, they ran from any and all Accountability and left everything still on the table to be continually used if the political/military want was still in play in future executive/legislative wants!!

CIA Misled Public: In Torture Report For Years

03/31/14 - Senate study rips CIA torture report: leak

Rachel Maddow reports breaking news of a leak to the Washington Post that the Senate report on concludes that the CIA was misleading in its report on its use of torture and the effectiveness of their tactics.

CIA misled on interrogation program, Senate report says
March 31 2014 - A report by the Senate Intelligence Committee concludes that the CIA misled the government and the public about aspects of its brutal interrogation program for years — concealing details about the severity of its methods, overstating the significance of plots and prisoners, and taking credit for critical pieces of intelligence that detainees had in fact surrendered before they were subjected to harsh techniques.

The report, built around detailed chronologies of dozens of CIA detainees, documents a long-standing pattern of unsubstantiated claims as agency officials sought permission to use — and later tried to defend — excruciating interrogation methods that yielded little, if any, significant intelligence, according to U.S. officials who have reviewed the document.

“The CIA described [its program] repeatedly both to the Department of Justice and eventually to Congress as getting unique, otherwise unobtainable intelligence that helped disrupt terrorist plots and save thousands of lives,” said one U.S. official briefed on the report. “Was that actually true? The answer is no.” read more>>>

'Torture was not essential to find bin Laden’, US Senate report will find
A still-secret US Senate report into the use of “enhanced interrogations” in the wake of 9/11 will find that torture was not necessary or effective, it has been claimed

31 Mar 2014 - Water-boarding and other harsh interrogation techniques provided no key evidence in the hunt for Osama bin Laden, a new senate report into the use of torture by the CIA in the years after the September 11 attacks is expected to claim.

If confirmed, the finding in the 6,200-page senate report will directly challenge assertion by former members of the George W. Bush administration that the CIA’s so-called “enhanced interrogation” techniques were an essential tool in prosecuting the war on terror.

Congressional aides familiar with the still-secret report told the Associated Press that a review of some 6 million classified documents had led them to conclude there was no benefit derived from treatment that the United Nations and rights groups say amounted to torture. read more>>>

Us Vietnam Vets got the answers, at least a few, of why that occupation conflict lasted so long, why I was sent into in '70 and left in '71, I got waterboarded then roughed up in S.E.R.E., after already years of and more years to come, with the bush administration. After so quickly abandoning the missions and troops after 9/11 to invade another country, it was because of the interrogation and torture information gleaned that worked so well. Just ask all the supporters of, mostly GOP, they watched the popular TV drama '24' and like everything else today TV is reality and torture worked great in the show. So it must of been the torture from the North Vietnamese and information from that greatly extended and prolonged that war, they were getting the information needed from the POW's like McCain. So it's time to come clean John, and the others still alive, how much information and what type did you all give up. Been years from and we might understand now, after all it can't just work because we Americans do it any better then anyone else that we've always, and still do, condemn for doing!!
