Reverse the decision to grant immunity to George W Bush and the members of his administration who planned the Iraq War

We ask the Obama administration to reverse its decision to grant Westfall immunity to George W Bush. The Bush administration committed serious war crimes and needs to be brought to justice in a court of law. The Obama Administration should be aiding the plaintiffs in this case, not trying to obstruct justice. Instruct Attorney General Holder to reverse this decision immediately.

Ten Years After The Iraq War

The Iraq War has been spotlighted in the news again, which I find amazing, as we approach looking back ten years later.

Not for the extremely failed policies, raising the threat levels as to those National Security and National Defense needs with the blowback in spreading the al Qaeda style criminal international terrorism far and wide, in abandoning the main missions for why the country sent our military into that region after 9/11. Nor in demanding it's long past time that the country Sacrifice to pay for them, especially with these long drawn out talks on the economy and deficit, and especially the long term costs as to the results of.

But in the continuing rovian style revisionist history that they weren't extremely failed policies, that abandoning the missions and countries promises to the Afghan people, after 9/11, and invade another country, Iraq, were righteous and will go down in history as being so. And by a certain Senator who along with others in Congress was an architect of those failed policies with the then executive administration. Selling the ginned up intelligence, outright lies, that a majority of Americans fully bought and fully support, 'In All Our Names'! Costs fully rubber stamped, off the books till the Obama Administration and all borrowed, yet to be paid off. As well as the decades of costs from the results of the policies.

March 19, 2013 marks a decade since former U.S. President George W. Bush ordered the American invasion of Iraq. Beginning with an Allied forces campaign against military targets and a mission to capture Saddam Hussein, the war led to large-scale sectarian civil violence and a destabilization of the region that continues to affect world affairs after the U.S. withdrawal in 2011.

Now, 10 years after it all began, VII photographers who covered the war's pivotal events revisit their experiences of the conflict, reflecting on the moments that most deeply affected them and re-releasing the wartime stories that define our understanding of the war today.

Warning: some of the pictures are very graphic and some may find these disturbing to view

MSNBC will be airing a special on Monday night with Rachel Maddow hosting, looking back at Iraq ten years later, she has talked about it the past couple of nights, if any had missed the show.

Last night, Friday, she had another segment about the upcoming special. She also had a lead in piece that was very interesting as to CPAC 2013 and their panel discussions announcements.

The Rachel Maddow Show | Aired on February 16, 2013
CPAC marks new season of conservatism

Rachel Maddow celebrates the announcement of the 2013 CPAC schedule, the Comic-Con of conservative politics, and points out that Chris Hayes has been invited to speak, and at least one schedule panel question the wisdom of America's willingness to go to war.

I'm gonna take a guess here. I'll bet a number of the attendee's will be rushing to sign on to attend this panel discussion. Why, well because it shouldn't last to long at all. Though they all seemed to have not only forgotten, that the extended costs of both have yet to be paid, again especially as to the long term results of, but have been trying their damn-est to erase the previous eight years prior to the Obama administration and especially the congresses of the first six, many still holding seats in both houses. Those still in and the new who fully supported have also been running from the facts that neither war has been paid for, rubber stamping and thus deficits rapidly rising started Before 9/11, but especially no calls nor demands the Country Sacrifice as to the long term results of, DeJa-Vu all over again, a decade plus added to the previous decades and wars of, since Korea, and their responsibility to fully fund the Veterans Administration as they do the Defense Industrial Complex!

All someone on this panel needs say is: "the wisdom of wars of choice is ours to make and we've shown, if we have total federal government control, we just make up the reasons for. The willingness is ours and the public can be easily swayed to follow, we've already proved that also. There's never to many wars, we have yet invaded Iran and that's another long want for control in that region especially as Iraq didn't work out so well. As to the money, we can afford anything, we proved that as well, the American credit card has no limit, even more so then just related to war, and damn the interest rates on, the coming generations will pay off anything we put on it. We'll all be long gone or to old to care and our hero's, them 'job creators', will have greatly built up their wealth and generous in paying for the ideologies and policies we demand the country should have, that's that, praise the lord, reagan trickle down, and we call it all grassroots patriotic organizing."
"Panel adjourned"!!

The same style map of the Afghanistan casulties can be found at link above as well.

The Long Delayed Brit Iraq War Inquiry Official report is due out, supposedly, sometime this summer. In it will be found the following, and much more, from the early public testimony given. I've used this a few times to point out what went on before, on and in the days after 9/11.

Drip, drip, drip, ""He recalled noting that: "the dog didn't bark - it grizzled." Don't forget - this 'grizzling' for regime change was 6 months BEFORE 9/11."". drip, drip, drip, ""But there was a 'sea change' in attitude after the atrocities, with former national security adviser Condoleezza Rice targeting Iraq on the very day of the outrage."", drip, drip, drip, ""George Bush tried to make a connection between Iraq and al-Qaida in a conversation with Tony Blair three days after the 9/11 attacks, according to Blair's foreign policy adviser of the time."", drip, drip, drip, ""There was "a touching belief [in Washington] that we shouldn't worry so much about the aftermath because it was all going to be sweetness and light"."", drip, drip, drip, ""Boyce mentions the "dysfunctionalism" of Washington. He says that he would find himself briefing his American counterparts on what was happening in different parts of the US adminstration. Rumsfeld was not sharing information"", drip, drip, drip...........!

Written Transcripts by Date of each session.
